A great set of jazz funk tracks from Bobby Lyle , in a great way that shows him equally able to bridge the worlds of funky jazz and soul with a strength found in only a few other players of his generation, like Roy Ayers or Webster Lewis. The album's got some sublimely smooth numbers that really groove with that easy-stepping, end of the 70s Capitol sound that we totally love. Titles include "Space Place", "Stop Running Away From Love", "Getting Into Love", "Dream Lady", "Stop Running Away From Love", and "For Love". (With the original inner sleeve w/lyrics.)
